My husband and I are looking to build a home in the next few years as he has a bankruptcy that we are waiting to get off our credit report. We have one car loan at $15,000 and no other debt. Our credit score is a 650. Would we get approved being the bankruptcy is just off of his report or would we need to wait longer? We are looking to build a 2,000 sq ft home on a piece of land given to us from the family. Any advise is appreciated.

Any suggestions who will lend $$$ for someone who has a 650 credit score? My property is located in Ogden UT, and has been a nightmare cause I’m in CA. Needless to say, I got screwed over by my realtor, contractor, and loan officer in the span of 6 months. And now facing other headaches with it. I’d be more than willing at this point to entertain any ideas, and especially a POSSIBILITY of partnership to see this through, and reap on the profits.
A lot is happening in the city of Ogden with fixing it up, and other major tourist attractions (I can explain later).
